Wallum Olum

   The Creation Legend of the Lenape Indians. In it is told how after the Deluge they dwelt with the manly turtle beings—presumably some tribe of seafarers—and that Talli, their culture hero, led them over the frozen lands to the Snake Land, which they conquered.
